
Step 1
- Have your partner hold their hands to their shoulders to create a triangle shape
- it helps to lift their elbows to allow them to bring their arms closer together – this also gives your more room to tie.
- Do a double column tie between their wrist and bicep. If they have less flexibility you may find you need to add additional wraps in the center of the double column to allow for space between the bicep and wrist.
- pass the running end of the rope over the shoulder
- wrap remaining rope around the waist
Step 2
- repeat step one on the opposite side
step 3
- place a munter hitch (AKA crossing hitch) in the middle of the back to pull the two lines together, wrap repeatedly around waist and then tie ropes together with a square knot.
This simple but effective tie is great for snuggling!
